Our client OPC France is a company which designs and distributes greeting cards to franchises throughout France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Since its introduction to the French Market in 1991, we have looked after its logistics and distribution.
A fast growing and changing product range with a short life span were the most determining factors in the choice of development strategy.
Effectively, OPC France needed a tool to update their product range efficiently and economically, change their pricing policy easily and obtain vital statistical information at a minimum cost.
Some of the tools set up by ITS Fabry have enabled OPC France to optimise their print runs.
A unique system enables our franchises to place an open order. A visual indicator will let them know how close they are to reaching the firm order (and not a quantity as this is confidential).
Once the minimal quantity is reached, they receive an automatic response and delivery date.
This order “bidding” system means no stock while supplying the product our customer is looking for.
