
The transport company was founded in Paris in 1900 by
Raymond Ferrand. Since then, 5 generations have been working
in the family business. Two World wars later the primary business
of I.T.S. FABRY shifted from Transport to Customs Clearance.
1950's

Robert
Fabry moved to the French Belgian border in 1949
with his family to built the foundation of the
Customs Clearance business. The activity was
booming and the location chosen at that time
is still I.T.S. FABRY's headquarters. |
1970's:
His
son Michel joined in and stated to market the company
actively across all European countries.
The number
of clients grew significantly and Michel eventually
purchased the company to continue its expansion.
1980's:
I.T.S.
FABRY had reached its peak with 12 offices scattered
along the French borders and there was no sign of
a slow down. The decision to open borders within
the E.U. had a immense result on the Freight forwarding
industry.
To overcome the change, Michel Fabry took
the decision to grow further before the deadline
of January 1st, 1993.
The package as you now know
it was born...VAT refund and EDC were born.
1990's:
Sales
offices are being opened around Europe, in the United
States and Japan. I.T.S. FABRY has continued to expend
its range of services as well as its warehousing
capabilities.
In line with our pioneer spirit, E-business
services got started and I.T.S. FABRY has kept its
edge...
2000's:
I.T.S.
FABRY will continue its rise, is building a new state-of-the-art
facility to house new customers and simplify their
world...
2001:
Acquired local company providing additional
workshop capabilities
2002:
Moved its headquarters to Feignies Facility
and reach 400,000 sqft of
warehousing space
2003:
Further built expertise in Niche markets with heavy IT involvement.
2004:
Duplicate our service in the US
